Secondary education builds on concepts learned in upper primary and prepares students for higher education and professional choices. The curriculum becomes more subject-focused, encouraging analytical thinking, practical skills, and academic discipline. Students usually study core subjects along with optional subjects, and emphasis is placed on board exam preparation in class 10.

Assessment and Evaluation

Continuous assessment of students is taken through oral tests, project work and written tests. There are four major examination throughout the academic year to evaluate the learners.–
